D started kindergarten today. He was so excited to get on the school bus! We were all so big and brave- Mommy & Daddy didn't even cry (though the bus driver did give us some knowing looks).
We know he'll absolutely LOVE school, so that makes us excited for him. Miss H keeps saying "I 'ant bus too!" She'll be joining him before we know it. These little people grow too fast!

I remember my first day of school so well. I remember even more specifically the day my 14 year old brother "ran away from home" after school and left his 6 year old brother locked out of the house. Ah the memories of a latchkey kid. Kids these days just don't have those kind of positive memories. :D

Happy Birthday Hanna! We are excited that you are the big 2! Sorry we didn't get a card off...I have no excuses except that life is crazy right now!. But we are thinking about you and hope you have a fun day and you eat lots of cake!
